It is on the bucolic riversides of the Dordogne (south-western France) that Amélie recently sampled archaeological features at two iron age and gallo-roman settlements. Several block samples were taken in ditches, trackways and floors to investigate anthropogenic and/or natural formation processes of these units. In the next weeks, the blocks will be impregnated in resin. We will let the resin cure for at least 6 weeks before turning them into thin sections.
