In January 2019, we open a new laboratory dedicated to the production of soil thin sections for micromorphological and geoarchaeological studies: Terrascope. We are currently setting up the lab to welcome all the equipments: fume cabinet Vodex, grinding machine Brot géologie, vacuum chambre Pfeiffer, drying cabinet and diamond wheel saw! All micromorphologists and geoarchaeologists know how difficult it can be to get good quality thin sections in Europe and the World, furthermore in an acceptable delay.
